How to get names and dates from Spirit: the 4 ways they arrive

Not that long ago, I was doing a Facebook live. Now, I pulled a card for a lady and it was her father that came through and you know, I was just tuning into the feelings and the vibrations, remembering there's a lot of people in the audience and I can't see this person, but I knew that there was a father energy here for her and then a name popped in, Elma. Now, as a person who doesn't usually get names, it's something that I haven't practiced a lot of. I was pretty surprised when I said, hey, I just had a name called Elma, does that belong to you? And she said, that is his name. I couldn't possibly know that. The name popped in. Very interesting. And also this can happen with dates, this can happen with things that are going to happen in the future. This is called evidential mediumship. But the problem is we are so focused on trying to get the names and the dates and the premonitions that we are missing the basics, and this is what this series is all about.

Today I'm going to show you what happens. Not the mystery, not the magic trick, but actually what happens with mediumship. And we're going to go through four steps so you can start practicing getting names, getting dates, and getting things that you could not possibly know unless somebody told you or unless you tune into your gifts. If you are new here, hello. My name is Victoria Bond. I'm a psychic medium and a spiritual empowerment coach.

And if you've been with me for a while, thank you for coming back. Welcome back, and I hope you enjoy this episode. Mediumship can be very diverse. What do I mean by that? Well, there's different ways of reading just like there's different clairs and we get to perceive things differently. Now, a lot of mediums are reading the vibration of the person that they are reading for. So for instance, tuning into their hopes and their dreams, their desires, their questions, and sometimes repeating back the answers of which they are wanting, but maybe they are not so accurate.

Okay, so no wonder we're a little bit hesitant to get readings and we're like, is this real? And no wonder we question ourselves. This whole series is about how to truly feel what is coming in. And I want to go deeper into that today. So, the problem with this type of medium is they're telling you're going to get a pool, the love of your life is around the corner, money is coming your way, you're going on holiday, and you're like, Yes, yes, yes, these are all the things that I want. And then they don't happen.

That's because they were reading your vibration of your wants, not necessarily the truth. So, I always teach my mediums, don't make anything definite, don't make anything dense, and don't make anything with a certainty. The biggest thing about getting names and dates and information that we possibly could not know is that we have to get out of our own way. So unlike the other different ways that we were speaking about like the exploring the vibration of the person and reading that way, there's nothing wrong with that. But we just have to make sure that we're prefacing that it's not definite, because we don't want to be curating somebody else's life, right?

Because what we think about we bring about. We want to be enhancing their life. We want to be helping them. And that can happen by reading their vibration. But when we get to mix it in different ways, we have extremely powerful readings on our hands. So when a name drops in, and when a word pops in, or when something unexplained pops in, or a date, it has dropped in and, like I just said, we're out of the way.

We're not really in a space of conversation. When we see this on the stage, we have got a medium and there's all these spirits and all these human beings as well. So, you've got a lot of people, a lot of energy. They're coming inward. They're coming inward to a space that I call Spirit mode, which means they're coming into a nothingness. There's not a lot of thinking going on.

So when I was doing this Facebook live, this is the example that I have of the name popping through. I was not looking for a name. I was not looking for a date. I was not even looking for any information. I was being, like I said, the clear channel. I wasn't going into the akashic records. I wasn't going into the future things. I was just being in the space of nothingness.

I know that sounds crazy, but it makes sense when you know that you can't think yourself conscious and you can't think yourself psychic. So, when a drop in comes in, we have to be able to practice. This is how we get there. Practice being in the space of nothingness. But as a society, we don't often get to that place, right? Because life is so busy. So, this is just one thing I want to share with you today.

I want to drop that little seed for it to grow if you so wish it to. And just start thinking about readings that you've had. Were they someone reading your vibration? I've certainly had that. And then sometimes opinions of the reader can come in, which I don't think is very ethical, to be honest. But it's kind of nearly like a coaching, a backwards and forward, which is so good if it's done correctly.

And then we've got the channel, the straight up, I'm just stepping out. My ego is right there, and what is dropping in that I'm not looking for or searching for? Or of course we've got this other way, which is going into the channel of those higher selves, of the guides, of ascended masters, of the light beings, and we can go backwards or forwards, or we can go up and down, and we can really start looking into the future things. All of these can be used with cards as well because that is a tool. A card is a tool to open up our conscious awareness and give us information.

So now we're going to go through the four ways that this can manifest through you. And we're going to do some practicing. Are you ready? Let's go. Number one on how a name could arrive.

How would we expect it to arrive? And now we want to eliminate that out of our brain. Okay, we are reprogramming the expectations. We're managing our expectations. In fact, when the name Elma came through, I had no expectation of a name. Names can happen in many different ways. So, you might be scanning the room and you might look at your card deck or sometimes I have pictures on the wall and boom, a name might just pop out.

Or maybe a letter E pops out. Or maybe a J pops out. Maybe that's what we're seeing with our eyes. Or maybe it comes in a shape or a colour or a sense. Quite often I will see my grandmother and I'll go, huh, Ada, my grandma, why is she popping through? Why is her name popping out? And the person goes, Ada, that's my grandma's name. You know, as an example. And like I say, this is if we are practicing names or we're being open to names.

Like I said, I was not actually looking for a name, but it came through kind of like a shape and I kind of heard it. I know this sounds kind of crazy and it's very nuanced and it's very layered and it makes absolutely no sense. But we can hear a name or we can see a name or we can feel what we're seeing and hear what we're knowing. That there is a paradox. That there makes no sense.

And mediumship is not meant to make sense. We get the clues, the E or the J or the grandma. We may have the sense and the feeling, like I just said, and you might just be like, oh, I'm smelling something like smoke. And smoke might connect into a name. Or, you know, one day I had a song, Don't Cry for Me Argentina, and then I realised that the message was for my friend Tina, from her grandmother, Martina, right? It's like, who's got time for this?

But Spirit makes it easy and all you need to do is get out of your head. So, it can come through in shapes. It can come through in songs. It can come through in letters that you see with your eyes or words popping out off a book. It might come through in the sense all the things that I've just said. You've just got to be willing to be willing to explore what is coming through with no judgment.

And like I always say, 99% of what comes through is not going to make any sense to you. When I said the word Elma, it made no sense to me, because it's quite a unique name and I would think that it would be a woman's name, but it wasn't. It was a father's name of a spirit who was coming through for somebody who I was pulling a card for on Facebook. Go figure. The second way it could arrive maybe let's look into a date.

Now a date doesn't usually come in the form of a calendar. Now for me it's usually, what am I sensing? I'm feeling cold. I'm noticing snow. I'm feeling a briskness. It's like a season, okay? Or all of a sudden I'll see a visualisation of Santa or I might even see the word Santa and maybe that is referring to around Christmas time. Okay, a birthday. It could be celebrations.

It could be numbers coming to me and flicking through, and I'm like, why am I seeing numbers? You know, like lotto, like all the balls going around. It's your greatest imagination. And this is why mediums will say, Is there a significant birthday or is there some type of anniversary coming up? Mediums ask questions because they're trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. It's not a party trick.

It's literally being an investigator. For me, very often Spirit will come around, like very often around an anniversary. So, I go running with my friend, and this is a true story, it just popped into my head. We're running along and this little baby owl flew like into us. Like, it didn't hit us, but it came through us, and we were like, what? What is happening? This bird is flying into us, and it went onto a perch and it was looking at us.

This isn't very common. And I don't know about you guys in America, but they are not very often seen. And when you see one, you know that you must pay attention. Now, it is coming up to the anniversary of my friend's dad's passing, well, the passing of his body, right? And just before he passed, a couple of days before he passed, a morepork arrived at my house and was sitting there just as the sun was going down.

And it was getting a little bit darker and it just sat there on my fence looking at us. My friend wasn't there, but I knew that it wasn't long before my friend's father passed, and I was able to pass her on that message. So I share this little story with you because around anniversaries, around birthdays, it's a big deal. Spirit becomes louder. Now I used to have a thought popping in.

I would get a name pop in of someone that I knew who had passed and I would then know to message the parents of that spirit. And they just happened to be my bosses and I love them and they were like kind of like second parents to me. And I'd message them and go, Hey guys, how's it going? Thinking about you. And they used to say, Victoria always messages us on our children's anniversary, because they had two children that had passed over. I didn't know it was their anniversary. I had no idea.

I just felt the spirit there. And then I would message to say hello and they thought I was being thoughtful. I wasn't. It's just that Spirit arrives around anniversaries. It's like they come into our world, into our dimension to support their loved ones. So, a name or a date can pop through in so many different ways. And often it can be the oddest ways, like I just said. It could be seasonal, like a cold, or the name can pop in, or you can smell Christmas cake or something like that.

Or maybe numbers are popping out at you. So, it could be 37 just keeps popping up. 37, 37, 37. You're like, what is it about that? And maybe someone that you know lost somebody when they were 37, right? And then we put the clues together. So, I know this seems so elusive and so kind of far out, and you're like, how do we put this all together? It all comes together, and I'll be explaining that to you as we go through.

Before we get into the next two ways of connecting with names and dates and things that are unknown, let's do a practice. I want you to feel your feet on the ground. You don't have to close your eyes unless you feel called to do so. Sometimes we can get distracted by the eyes. So, it's a good idea to close them down if you get distracted easily. But, you know, the truth is we're walking around with our eyes open most of the time unless we're asleep.

So, it's good to learn how to read with our eyes open. So, I'll leave it up to you to discern whether you want to close them or not. Feel your feet on the ground. You know the drill by now if you've been with me for a while. Roots down into the earth and wrap around the earth. Breathe in a golden light. And as you breathe out, breathe down to your toes and light up the earth underneath you.

Visualise the golden light coming through the top of your crown all the way down through your vessel and into the earth. So, we are on a glowing earth right now. Now, make sure your body is lit. We're going to come into your light body. Breathe in gold again. And now, breathe out that gold and fill up your vessel, but also your aura. Beautiful. And now I want you to think about somebody, the first person that comes to mind that you know who has passed.

Maybe it's a school friend that passed when they were younger. Maybe it's a relative. Maybe it's somebody you've never met but someone that you know of like a great great grandma. Maybe it's someone a little bit closer or a friend of a friend. So you've got the person right now. Now, what is the first colour that you think of? What is the first letter that you think of?

And now I want you to think of the first number that comes to mind. And now, is there a word that pops in? Remember, no thinking, just being. And if you don't get anything, that's okay. We're strengthening the muscle. This is what mediums do. We get out of our head into our heart. And it can take practice just to do that alone. And now while we are in the space, is there a sentence that comes to mind or a message?

And lastly, is there an image that comes to mind? 5 4 3 2 1. Bring yourself fully back into your body. We say thank you to the spirit. We cut the cord ties and we fully come back, blinking our eyes open. Welcome back. Take a moment to jot all of that information down. Did you get a colour? Did you get a letter, a number, an image, maybe a sentence? I'm curious.

The impression is important. And the whole point of doing this activation is letting things drop in. When Elma popped in, and honestly I was going to say when the bird popped in, the bird didn't pop in.

The bird literally flew into us and landed. That was a physical manifestation of Spirit. Miraculous. Blew my mind. I still talk about it with my friend all the time. And I'm always looking around. So, I'm always looking around waiting for a morepork to fly into us. It's very miraculous. And I'll see paintings of a morepork, or literally my screen saver will come up with one.

Of course it is, because that's how he shows himself to me. And of course, it just landed in for me to share that with you, because that is what Spirit wants me to share with you. Okay, so this is number three. Symbols of your very own dictionary. Now, in Magnificent Mediumship, I'm like, hey guys, just because females on the left for me and males on the right doesn't mean that's the same for you. A 111, what does that mean? Well, a 111 or a 1111 means call the angels for some people, but for some people, like me, it means you're on the right track. Some people it just is a 1111 and it means nothing.

It's a feeling, a knowing. What is 777 or 333? Honestly, I think it's different for everybody. And this is why I invite you to create your own dictionary. And I want you to think right now what symbols mean what to you. When I first started, quite a few years ago now, I didn't have any symbols apart from 1111, which for me meant I was on the right track.

And I realise it means something different for everybody. But that sign took me to all of the other signs that I needed. And now I've got my very own library. The cool thing about it is your library is always changing, right? So you don't have to go female on the left and male on the right. It's like sometimes it changes up. And this is why with a pendulum, we know it's going left, it's a yes.

When it's going right, it's a no. But every single time I've used a pendulum, I still ask it. Please give me a yes. Please give me a no. Because I want to double check to make sure that it hasn't changed on me. I don't want to ever presume my dictionary is solid and dense. I have to actually do it to see. So your own dictionary is fun. Okay.

So you can actually start your own rule book. You can literally get a piece of pen and paper and go, huh, my spirit dictionary. Let's build this. I would actually even invite you to get a notebook and have this as a separate thing and explore. I wish I did that when I started, unknowingly that I was starting at the time, but I started following the 1111 for everything that I did, and it really changed my life, and it actually got me to where I am.

So it can be simple yet extremely effective. So butterflies. Okay, let's go to the cliches. Okay, cliches are a cliche because they are so good. Butterflies, feathers, birds, moreporks, and fantails, and you know, I don't know, eagles. What else is there? Like a golden bald eagle. One of my clients is like, every time I see a golden bald eagle, it's like my dad. You know, it's just phenomenal.

So maybe a candle, you know, when we see a candle. For me, when cats start flying, I know I'm just about to go into a channel. I'm like, whoa, I'm seeing cats flying. This is so weird. And for me, before it was cats flying, it used to be an eye. I was like, how come I feel like there's this eye pulsing right here? It was going in and out and in and out.

I didn't realise it was actually a sign that I had to put in my dictionary until it had happened three times. So, there is a clue. If something happens a few times and it's repetitive, it is a sign for Spirit. But again, like I said, you can get a pen and a paper and start writing out the signs that you want. You might say feather means an angel.

A butterfly means my grandma's around. For me, a bumblebee. I know that when I hear a bumblebee, when it comes close to me, whether I see it or not, I usually hear it behind the curtains or whatever. I know that my grandma's around. So I put two pieces of the puzzle together and it starts creating a picture. Your spiritual dictionary can be your own creation, but it's really your creation with Spirit.

So I am curious and I want to know if you haven't already, pop it down in the chat. Let me know what signs are already resonating with you. Because sometimes these are the things, and I've spoken about this a lot in other trainings, that we bypass. These are the things we bypass. Oh, it's just a feather. Maybe the cat got another bird or my puffer jacket just had a feather go loose.

It's still a sign. Yes, it's monarch butterfly season, but when that butterfly comes so close to you, and you're like, I just asked Spirit for a sign. You know, it's a sign from Spirit. They're not coincidences. Sometimes a feather is a feather. But when you've got your own Spirit dictionary, it makes all the difference. Before we get into number four of names and dates and things that we can't explain with this building workshop that we're doing right now, I just want to bring us down to earth a little bit and say this one thing.

A medium never tries to convince or persuade. A medium simply confirms. Confirms what your spirit already knows. A medium will never force anything. And often we will repeat ourselves as mediums, and there is something to take note of there, when I'm repeating myself, like vitamins and minerals, vitamins and minerals. I remember my client, this whole entire session we were doing, I was reading her vibration, right, and her spirit guides were coming through, and I was in this channel.

It was phenomenal, and I just said, I'm so sorry. I just keep seeing vitamins and minerals and I could not for the life of me get it out of my head. It was on loop. My client wasn't very well. But the whole entire session was about her health, and Spirit, her guides, wanted her to know that. I said, you need to look into your health. You need to go to a naturopath.

Vitamins and minerals, vitamins and minerals. So, it's really important that we confirm and not force, not put our opinions onto another. I remember a medium saying to me, don't move there because you will regret it. Why would you want to move there when over here is way better? And I was like, wow, this isn't coming from Spirit. This is coming from her very own opinion. I felt like she had this forced energy and she started telling me what I should do rather than actually confirming the energy and the vibration of where I was actually going and what Spirit was bringing through.

We want to confirm with no opinion, no judgment, no bias, and no convincing and no trying to prove ourselves. Because when we're trying to prove, we're coming from ego. And when we are trying to support, we're coming from a space of expansiveness and awareness, not judgment. So just a little seed there that you might want to sit and contemplate on as well. So number four, how does it arrive?

How does this information arrive? We've talked about how it can come through cold. Boom. Elma, or of course the morepork that I felt inclined to share with you in this channel here. Right. So very often, if not always, we will feel. So we've got to connect in. So there's a three way conversation. There's me, there's a person that I'm reading for and co creating with, and there's Spirit.

So when we become warm and expansive, so not in our head, not trying to prove, not to get the evidence. We've got to get the evidence so we can prove we're worthy of being a medium, that we're not a fake or a fraud or a phony. We all do it, right? That's how we've been trained to get things right. But when we come into a let's explore, let's co create, let's see what wants to come through, rather than pressure and force and prove and convince.

Like I said, what happens is a warmth, a feeling. And we feel it within our heart space. We feel it within our emotions. We feel it within the prickly spidey radar on our skin. We have the feeling and then it lands. Now, when I do light language, it's very similar. So, I'm co creating. I'm tuning into who I want to do the light language for. Spirit is there as well.

It's like a conversation, and it's nearly like it lands and floats on down. My heart's open, and then all of a sudden, I'm speaking in a completely different galactic language. And yes, it's kind of mind blowing. So my ego has to go to the side before my head says, what are you doing? We don't even know what you're saying. Right? So we feel it. We're connecting in and it's a threeway conversation and then we let it drop in.

Now it's not necessarily dropping in from above. It's not necessarily dropping in from over there. It's coming from your heart space. And you will perceive things differently to myself and I will perceive things differently to you. But it's within the feeling and it is, listen to me when I say this, the allowance of letting it land and the willingness to get it wrong. I know that sounds kind of crazy because you can't get mediumship wrong unless you are trying to think yourself psychic, but you like literally can't get it wrong.

So, if you were like, I don't know what this means, but I am seeing Santa or I've got the name Elma or I've got the 11th of November. I'm seeing 1111. So numbers can come through in different ways, or dates, or feelings, or senses, and this is how names and dates and things that we could not have possibly ever known about pop in. So this number four is the most important. We got to get out of the way, right?

I know I say this quite a lot, but it's because it's important. And we have to know that the connection is not just us doing the work. We're not here doing this alone. We've got a whole bunch of guides that are with us and then the bunch of guides if we are reading for someone else and then of course we've got Spirit and they've got a bunch of guides as well. So there's a lot of people communicating at the same time.

What do we do when we're in a circle of people having a conversation? We sit back and we receive and then when it's time for us to speak we speak. So all in all, the reason why we go, wow, that's impossible. How did that happen? Looking for the magic trick is because we are being mind focused. We are favouring the mind over the heart. Okay. It always comes back to love.

It always comes back to reception. It always comes back to being available and willing and in awareness. Okay. We need to function from the being not the human. So, it's really important for us to go. We don't say we don't get names. We don't say we don't get dates. You know, I made the mistake of doing that, and then all of a sudden names started popping through, and I was like, wow, how did I get that right? Usually, it was just an initial.

I'd say, oh, I'm seeing the letter J. And they'd be like, yeah, my husband's name was John. I'm like, oh, okay, cool. And I didn't really go too much further beyond that. And I hadn't, you know, grown those muscles. But the truth is, it can pop in at any time and we don't know what's going to pop in. Be willing to get a no because every no will get you closer to a yes. Be willing to ask questions.

Be willing to explore and make sure that you understand you are reading the vibration of the person and the spirit and you're a channel. Okay? And understanding that you are also multi dimensional. So, you get to explore with the guides, the higher self, the archangels, and the light beings. Let me know what is landing for you. We've got one more mini activation. So, stick around. When you're ready, we're going to close our eyes down if it's safe for you to do so. Feel your feet on the ground. And I want you to do a body scan from the top of your head all the way down to your toes. A body scan is just checking in. Checking in if there's any sticky parts, any sore parts, anywhere that feels stiff or hot or cold.

Doing a body scan from the top all the way down to your feet. Make sure you get your arms and your fingertips. Notice what you notice. And notice your breath. The breath going in, that cold air, and the warm air coming out. Ah, breathing in again. And breathing out your mouth fully. Beautiful. And now visualising that golden bubble of light around you.

Drop your head down into your heart and down through the floor. Just like in our previous activation and our last episode down from your head into your heart and down through the floor. And now come into your heart space and expand in all directions up down side to side. Drop those barriers down. Beautiful. And now I want you to visualise there is a screen in front of you.

It's not hard to visualise because your eyes are closed and right now it's blank. So maybe you're going to see with your eyes through those lids or maybe you're going to see with your greatest imagination. You might even visualise there is a curtain closed. And we're going to ask Spirit now to open that curtain. And I want you to notice the first image that you see. That image might come through the clairaudience.

It might come through a sensing in your heart. It may come through your vision. And now close that curtain and notice the space behind your eyes. Notice your feet on the ground. Notice where your body is right now. Whether it's lying down or sitting up. Notice the house that you're in or the space that you're in. The town, the suburb, the country, the planet. Bringing your awareness back to your body, wriggling your fingers and toes.

3 2 1 wide awake. What was the image that you got? What did you sense? Now, if you are a person who's not very visual and you're like, I got nothing. I don't want you to solidify that. Okay, my trainings are very much about building up. This is how I built my mediumship mastery. But for now, I just want you to also tell me what came through.

Sometimes something not coming through is just as important as something coming through. And sometimes when we get something small like truck or red or flower, and we're like, oh, this is just my brain, you know, playing. Sometimes that thing is very significant and it doesn't need to make sense. In the next episode, we're going to go deep into why some people see Spirit and why some people can only feel or hear or have a knowing. We're going to go deeper into this, because I do find a lot of my clients and a lot of my audience are like, why can't I see? And it's really frustrating for them. But of course, once we start understanding this more, we realise that maybe we've been looking in the wrong place. I hope you've enjoyed this.
